Field House is an attractive detached Victorian property built in 1876, and uniquely positioned directly on the footpath to Aysgarth Falls away from the main road traffic.The location is quiet and peaceful yet less than 2 minutes walk to the nearest hostelry and village tea-room.

Situated at the end of a lane Field House overlooks open countryside and all rooms allow our guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the Dales in a truly wonderful setting.

Field House is the perfect base from which to explore Wensleydale and the surrounding area on foot or by car. There are numerous footpaths and walks including the Herriot Way - more than enough to satisfy even the most energetic walker.

Upon arrival, guests have the benefit of private parking and are welcomed with afternoon tea and homemade cakes in our comfortable lounge/dining room. We offer an excellent breakfast menu using locally sourced produce and make every effort to cater for individual requirements, including vegetarian options.
