Access Statement
Field House Aysgarth has two double letting rooms both situated on the first floor of the property. Guests can request a hard copy of this access statement by post if required.
Arrival time is normally after 3pm, however, please contact us if you wish to arrive earlier. Car parking for two vehicles is available on site at the rear of the property. There is also secure storage for bicycles and assistance with luggage if required.
From the car parking area a path leads to the front door. The path is 22 m long and 1 m wide with 6 steps set into it at various intervals. The tread depth of each step is 23cms. At the front door is a large flat step measuring 1.5 m by 1 m by 6cms. The front door is a standard size i.e. 2 m by 0.76 m with a threshold 24cms deep and 20cms high and opens inwards to the main hall.
The hall is carpeted and measures 5m by 1.13m, leading to the foot of the stairs. Two flights of stairs, each with 8 treads, lead up to the guest rooms. Each stair tread is 18 cms high and 26 cms in depth. Between the two flights is a half landing measuring 1.73m by 0.85m. The top landing, giving access to the guest rooms, measures 2m by 1.8m. A banister rail with a height of 0.66m runs the full length of the staircase.
Ground floor hallway, dining room and staircase are fully carpeted.
All internal doors are standard size (2m by 0.76m) unless otherwise stated.
The dining room is situated on the ground floor and is fully carpeted. The dining table can be accessed from all sides and additional seating is available by way of a two seater sofa positioned in the large bay window.
There are no guest toilet facilities on the ground floor.

The bed is a standard double with access from either side. The room has a wooden floor with rugs. Access to the shower room is via a door slightly less than standard size measuring(0.66m width).Both the toilet and pedestal wash basin are a standard size and height. The shower cubicle measures 0.75m by 0.75m and is accessed by an outward opening swing door with a shower tray lip height of 20cms.
Unfortunately the shower room is not suitable for wheelchair users.

The bed is a standard double with access from either side and the room has a wooden floor with rugs.
The private bathroom has a standard size toilet and pedestal washbasin with a corner bath. The corner bath height is 0.6m and the length is 1.3m with a hand shower attachment at one end.
