Field House is an attractive, detached Victorian residence built in 1876. The house is situated in a secluded position well away from the main road and just ten minutes walk along the footpath to Aysgarth Falls.

The house has been sympathetically refurbished and decorated to a high standard. The guest accommodation comprises two double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite whilst the other has private use of a large well appointed bathroom. Both rooms enjoy splendid views across Wensleydale.

The location is quiet and peaceful and is an ideal place to relax and unwind. Alternatively, the house is well situated as a base for exploring the Dales with numerous walks and footpaths in the surrounding area to satisfy the most energetic walkers.

An excellent breakfast is provided using locally sourced produce and every effort is made to cater for individual requirements including vegetarian options. Both guest rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a comfortable lounge/dining room is available should guests wish to relax in the evening.

Aysgarth is famous for the spectacular Falls, one of Wensleydale's top tourist attractions. The River Ure thunders through a rocky gorge and drops some two hundred feet over three huge slabs of limestone dividing this wonderful natural feature into the Upper, Middle and Lower Falls.

The Yorkshire Dales National Park has a Visitor Information Centre, with a spacious car park, located close to the Falls.

Open from April – October, Field House Bed and Breakfast, near Aysgarth Falls, Wensleydale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, participates in the English Tourism Council Inspection Scheme and currently enjoys a four star rating. Should you choose to stay at Field House -
